Twitter Employes Protest

Twitter has supposedly let staff know that the organization had no plans set up for all inclusive cutbacks after The Washington Post announced that Elon Musk intended to cut headcount by almost 75%. Reuters detailed the news.

Sean Edgett, Twitter's general guidance, messaged Twitter's staff on Thursday letting them know the organization didn't anticipate cutbacks, a source who saw the email told Reuters.

On Thursday, The Washington Post detailed that Elon Musk told forthcoming financial backers he would lay off practically 75% of Twitter's labor force.

The detailed work cuts would have cut Twitter's 7,500-man labor force down to a staff of around 2,000, per The Post.
